Much Better | Chapter 3 | Best Friend.
"Come on, Joseph. It's not that bad, all you have to do is, say yes or no." I said, with my hands on my hips, waiting for him to tell me how I look.
"Demi," he whined, drawing out the 'i',"I don't wanna be here, it's so boring!!"
I sighed. "Joe, just say yes or no. I need to look good, and the faster you answer, the faster we get to go home."
I watched as he looked at me up and down. He narrowed his eyes and then sighed, looking up at me [Demi's Outfit]. "Not your style. Your more into black, white, grey and red....rocker kinda style."
I raised my eyebrow at him. "How come you know me better than I know myself?"
"Cause I'm your best friend." He said, smiling. I rolled my eyes, and went back to change into my clothes.
It's gone 1 hour and a half and I'm carrying 30 shopping bags, already. Ok, Maybe not me. But, Joe. Yeah, I got him to carry them for me. I looked over at him and he was mumbling to himself, making weird faces.
"Stupid date, stupid guy, stupid mall. Stupid dude that asked her out....stupid!", I heard him mutter. I watched him, raising my eyebrows higher every time he said 'Stupid'.
He finally looked at me and stopped walking. I kept staring at him. "Stupid party...", he muttered, walking past me. I shook my head and said to myself, "I have the weirdest friend ever...".
Joe turned around and smirked, "Best friend", he corrected, before he started walking again. I ran after him and kissed his cheek quickly before running past him to the food court.
"Demi, you look great, now just please, can I go?", Joe groaned as I shook my head, meaning he can't leave.
"What kind of best friend are you if you don't even want to help me?", I pouted, acting sad.
"The jealous one...", I heard him mumble.
I gasped, "Your jealous?!", I shouted, shocked. He looked up at me with wide eyes.
"Um, no, I just...", he sighed, "Yes, I'm jealous because this is the first time you've dated ever since we broke up and I'm scared that your gonna forget about me...", he whispered.
Joe's POV;
"Yes, I'm jealous because this is the first time you've dated ever since we broke up and I'm scared that your gonna forget about me...", I whispered.
I was lying. That was not the reason to why I was jealous. I was jealous because I'm still in love with her. I was stupid when I broke up with her. I wish I would have never met Camilla.
I was stupid enough to think Camilla actually loved me. I never thought she would leave me, just because some guy left his girlfriend for her. I felt Demi wrap her arms around my neck, pulling me in for a hug. I tightly wrapped my arms around her tiny waist, feeling as if we were made to fit perfectly.
"Your my best friend, that would never happen. I love you more then I will ever love any guy", she whispered in my ear, before pulling away from the hug, giving me her most amazing smile.
I grinned at her, leaning down to kiss her cheek, letting my lips linger there for a few seconds. I barely pulled away to whisper in her ear, "And I love you more then I will ever love any girl", which was 100% true.
I would love Demi more then any girl. Even Nessa. The two most important girls in my life are Demi and Vanessa, and that will never change.
I hadn't noticed Demi walking back to her closet. I sighed, watching her. I'm helping my best friend, who is also my ex-girlfriend, that I am still in love with, getting ready for her date.
